COMDOM Antispam - 1.4.3
| Version: | 1.4.3 |
| Date released: | 7. january 2008 |
What's new?
Version 1.4.3 brings minor changes in SMTP stack implementation for better backward compatibility with older SMTP servers.
Version 1.4 extends the high performance Bayesian core of the software with CJK (Chinese, Japanese, Korean) email support, Real Time Black Lists, and smtpd_client_restrictions.
With these additions, COMDOM Antispam increases its lead over other filtering systems for ISPs and large enterprises in terms of accuracy and performance. COMDOM Antispam, running on a Linux based OS and a 1.7 Ghz processor, can handle over 700 messages per second. This high level of performance means that one ISP or enterprise server can now process as much traffic as 30 servers using first generation Bayesian or fingerprinting filtering technologies. Since spam constitutes around 90% of all emails, these advances mean significant reductions in network infrastructure costs in terms of hardware and administration.
