COMDOM Antispam is a high capacity platform designed for the requirements of ISPs and other large organizations facing spam from the increasingly complex interconnections to the internet. COMDOM is a powerful Antispam system operating as a stand alone mail gateway with relay control, authentication and load balancing support. The system consequently can be used together with mail servers or as a stand alone gateway for several mail servers. The robustness, flexibility, and the high data throughput capacity of COMDOM Antispam allow for the software to be deployed for a range of solutions.

Independent of network topology

COMDOM Antispam is designed to work with any arbitrary mail server. This implies that the software is independent of the operating system already in use in running a corporate or ISP network. Since many companies already utilize multiple platforms in organizing their mail servers, this means that installing COMDOM Antispam will not interfere with the existing topology in place. Furthermore, deploying COMDOM Antispam enables an arbitrary mail server running on an arbitrary operating system to receive and process emails scanned by COMDOM.

For mail scanning purposes, COMDOM Antispam is using a global pattern database that is regularly updated. New database updates are downloaded automatically from servers maintained by COMDOM Software. In response to new and complex forms of spam, our database collects and shares information across our global network of users. COMDOM Antispam is language independent, and also allows local network managers to build their own specific databases, and contribute their patterns to the global system. Consequently, end users can provide feedback to your local pattern database automatically to help your network filter spam more effectively.

End users, with a simple drag and drop function, can teach the
local databases the type of content they like and what they consider spam.
